Almost 100 loggerhead turtle hatchlings have been released on the NSW Central Coast after the eggs were incubated at Taronga Zoo over the last week. 130 eggs were excavated just over a week ago from Shelly Beach – the southernmost nest on record – due to fears the sand was too cold for the turtles to be viable. | ABC News
