A recent garden design for a modern cottage in the countryside The goal was to create a welcoming outdoor living area close to the house, but for me it was essential that the garden moulded seamlessly into the surrounding landscape. Straight hedges or rigid boundary lines would have broken that connection, instead, the design flows naturally, blurring the edges and bringing the wider countryside into the garden itself.
