This #WorldAlzheimersMonth, learn about what staff and residents at our Bradbury care home in Essex have been up to over the summer. Our care home partnered with Hadleigh Farm Rare Breed Centre to offer days out for our residents with dementia. At the farm, residents interacted with animals using Cognitive Stimulation Therapy techniques developed by the staff at our care home. Cognitive stimulation is recognised as an effective non-drug treatment for people living with mild to moderate dementia.
