Liverpool continue to be linked with a move for Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak and the Reds have been given fresh hope

Here’s the facts: Isak is one of the hottest central strikers in world soccer and he’s only 25. He’s under contract for three more years. He claims he was promised a dramatically increased contract by Newcastle, who subsequently changed up their executives and then yanked the promise. Liverpool want him, and he wants Liverpool.

Isak has blamed Newcastle for breaking promises and has vowed not to play for them. Newcastle have rejected a massive bid from Liverpool for the Swedish striker, and they cannot sell him unless a proper replacement is found.
