Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah and Arsenal midfielder Mariona Caldentey have been voted the men's and women's player of the year in English soccer for last season at the Professional Footballers' Association awards.
The 33-year-old Egyptian, who joined Liverpool in 2017, topped the Premier League scoring charts last season with 29 goals and added 18 assists, powering the club to the league title, 10 points clear of Arsenal.
