BEREA, Ohio — Winning the Week 1 start for Joe Flacco wasn’t anywhere near as tough as keeping the job will be. Kevin Stefanski stressed that Flacco earned the job outright, and didn’t win it by default because of injuries to Kenny Pickett, Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders.

Forty-year-old quarterback Joe Flacco will be the Week 1 starter for the Browns, 17 years after he was the Week 1 starter for the Ravens.

The Browns have committed to veteran Joe Flacco as their starting QB for 2025. The rest of the depth chart order remains up in the air.
