An Ohio deputy sheriff killed by a driver accused of intentionally running him over was remembered Friday as a dedicated officer who regularly volunteered for the most dangerous assignments.

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s deputy who was killed in the line of duty was laid to rest at Spring Grove Cemetery Friday afternoon.
