Hurricane Erin is fueling dangerous surf and rip currents along Florida’s east coast this week, with waves topping 8 feet and a High Surf Advisory in effect through Thursday.
Morning clouds will help cap daytime heat in Central Florida on Sunday, Spectrum News 13 meteorologist Zach Covey said. Showers and storms are expected in the area in the afternoon, Covey said.
Increased rain chances and cloud cover across the state will help keep conditions slightly “cooler” than some of the last few weeks.
