More than 111 people have died across six counties after flash flooding from heavy rain began affecting the state last week.

Davenport especially is seeing flash flooding, with impacts to streets, residences and businesses. Davenport police allowed the owner of Wayne Montgomery Carpets at 3202 Brady Street to make his way through flood waters to check his business Friday night as heavy rains caused street flooding throughout the Quad-Cities area.
