Deputies arrested a domestic violence suspect in unincorporated El Paso County on Tuesday, law enforcement says.

Gov. Jared Polis has declared a disaster emergency for the Crosho Fire, which has burned 1,700 acres in Rio Blanco and Routt counties since it started on Aug. 11.
