Florida Panthers star Brad Marchand was fined by the NHL for his heated confrontation with Buffalo Sabres defender Rasmus Dahlin.
Marchand was picked in the third round of the 2006 draft and is currently the fourth-leading scorer from that class. He’s well behind the leader, Ottawa’s Claude Giroux, but less than 50 points back of second spot, held by retired Caps legend Nicklas Bäckström.
