American tennis star Ben Shelton was engaged in a war of words with tournament officials at the 2025 Wimbledon Championships, when his second round match against Rinky Hijikata was suspended.

Ben Shelton has needed all of about a minute and exactly four points to wrap up a 6-2, 7-5, 6-4 victory over Rinky Hijikata in a second-round Wimbledon match suspended the night before because of darkness at 5-4 in the third set.

Ben Shelton had just five words for the umpire who halted his match on Thursday evening, telling him he needed just a minute to close out the contest.
