Outside of the Fargodome, fans can take a picture with the inflatable football helmet that Bison players have run through in years past.

The NDSU Gold Star Marching Band, NDSU Cheer Team and Thundar will also be at the block party. Scheels says they’ll have special deals in Bison gear and you can create a custom foam finger.

At NDSU, freshmen participated in an annual tradition to kick off the school year when new students walked through the main university gates led by mascot Thundar and President David Cook.
