A 28-year-old man is dead after a crash on Southfield Freeway in Detroit on Friday night. Michigan State Police said troopers responded to the crash on the freeway near Schoolcraft Road on the city's west side around 9:40 p.m. They found a motorist, later identified as the man, trapped in a vehicle in the left lane.
A Detroit man apparently had been drinking before he fell from a dock and into Lake St. Clair, where he drowned, New Baltimore police said Monday. Authorities identified the victim as Demari Dior Morgan, 27. He was visiting friends and family who had rented an Airbnb rental residence near the lake for the weekend.

Hunter House Hamburgers, a beloved Birmingham, Michigan, burger shack, is leaving the place where everything started in 1952, but it is not gone for good. The restaurant will be moving its flagship location just a short drive down Woodward Avenue. The spot is currently a Kentucky Fried Chicken at the corner of Woodward and Lincoln.
