A combine built in Grand Island has won the Coolest Thing Made in Nebraska contest, officials announced Monday.

Plant manager Dustin Alexander said Grand Island was chosen from 43 CNH facilities worldwide to produce the product because of the “Midwest work ethic” of the plant’s 650 employees.
