Walmart Recalls Water Bottles

Walmart is recalling 850,000 stainless steel water bottles after a faulty lid that can “forcefully eject” resulted in permanent vision loss for two people.
Stainless steel is generally considered non-toxic and resistant to bacterial growth, but many popular stainless steel tumblers have BPA-free plastic lids or straws that can leach microplastics when exposed to hot water, acidic liquids or high temperatures in the dishwasher.
Rinse your bottle and any removable parts. Take some dishwashing liquid and squirt a few drops onto each part before giving them all a good scrub. A sponge, bottle brush, and even a clean toothbrush will come in handy to reach those awkward spaces to clean out any gunk.
Amazon is dropping prices on tons of hydration essentials, including up to 32% off Owala's popular FreeSip water bottles and tumblers. Stock up with this Prime Day deal for summer.
