Former Florida football coach Urban Meyer will be honored on Nov. 22 vs Tennessee as the fifth UF coach inducted into the NFF College Football Hall of Fame.

Urban Meyer had an incredible coaching career at all of his stops, and he will be honored with an 'on-campus salute' at Florida this year.

Meyer, who led the program to a pair of national championships during his six-year stint, will be honored with a National Football Foundation (NFF) On-Campus Salute during the Gators' home game against Tennessee on Nov. 22.

"What Coach Moore has built here is incredibly sturdy and strong," said co-offensive coordinator Steve Casula. "I think we can face anything."

Before Ryan Day became the Ohio State Buckeyes' head coach, he was brought onto the staff as an offensive coordinator by then-head coach Urban Meyer. It then didn't take long for Day to succeed Meyer following Meyer's retirement.
