One New York Giants captain insists that despite some frustrations being vented, players are "100 percent bought in" on Shane Bowen's play-calling.
The Giants fell apart against the Denver Broncos, losing 33-32 in what was the wildest game of the NFL season so far.
Russell Wilson fired back at Sean Payton on social media Tuesday (Oct. 21), a little under 48 hours since the Denver Broncos’ coach took a swipe at the New York Giants’ backup quarterback who lost his starting job to rookie Jaxson Dart following an 0-3 start.
The Broncos won that battle overall, holding the Giants to 119 yards on the ground on 32 attempts for an average of 3.7 yards per. That included a 31-yard touchdown scamper by Tyrone Tracy Jr. Take that away, and the Giants only gained 88 yards on 31 carries, or 2.8 yards per attempt.
Nick Sirianni provided little to no update on Cam Jurgens, which sounded like he will miss Sunday's rematch against the New York Giants.
Like this week, when the defense collapsed worse than a house of cards on a windy day. The Giants allowed Denver over 270 yards of offense and 33 points, all in the fourth quarter, basically gift-wrapping a game that they should have won and handing it to the Broncos on a silver platter.
The New York Giants are cursed by kickers, both their own and opponents, often aided by blundering personnel decisions that cost the team wins.
