Bo Nix’s midseason surge continues. The Broncos quarterback was named the NFL rookie of the week Thursday after his standout performance Sunday at Kansas City. Nix completed 22 of 30 passes for 215 yards and two touchdowns and played to a 115.

But that also put wide receiver Courtland Sutton solo on Chiefs' cornerback Trent McDuffie. Sutton sprinted up the left sideline past McDuffie, and rookie quarterback Bo Nix put it on Sutton's hands as Sutton ran into the end zone.

The Denver Broncos have gotten little production from any of their wide receivers not named Courtland Sutton this season. Sutton, 29, has been quarterback Bo Nix’s favorite target, hauling in 36 receptions for 499 yards and two touchdowns through nine games.
