Novak Djokovic and coach Andy Murray ended their partnership after six months, they said Tuesday. Djokovic announced in November that he hired Murray. The 24-time Grand Slam winner was ranked No. 7 in the world at the time.

After working together for only six months, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray announced Tuesday that they have ended their player-coach relationship. Shortly after his retirement from playing tennis last year, Murray transitioned into coaching and took on his former on-court rival in Djokovic as his first major client.

Murray joined Djokovic’s coaching team in November ahead of the 2025 season, and was in his box for the Australian Open.
