Yordan Alvarez is expected to play a few games with Corpus Christi in what could be final stage of recovery from broken bone in hand.

Astros slugger Yordan Alvarez, who has been out since May 2 with a fractured right hand and subsequent inflammation, will begin a Minor League rehab assignment and play “a few games” at Double-A Corpus Christi,

Houston Astros General Manager Dana Brown indicated that slugger Yordan Alvarez had been assigned to the team’s Double affiliate Corpus Christi Hooks to begin a rehab assignment.
