The Houston Texans got a positive update from James Palmer of The Bleacher Report on Friday night. According to Palmer, Texans running back Joe Mixon is expected to play in their AFC Divisional game against the top-seeded Kansas City Chiefs.

Houston linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair (knee), right guard Shaq Mason (knee), offensive lineman Juice Scruggs (ankle) and wide receiver Robert Woods (hip) also were active. Woods did not practice all week and had been listed as questionable.
