Alabama RB Jam Miller will miss the opener vs. Florida State but is expected back Sept. 27 against Georgia. Here’s the full update on his return.

Until Miller returns, Alabama is expected to utilize Richard Young, Daniel Hill, Louisiana transfer Dre Washington and Kevin Riley in the run game. A room he previously called a "logjam," DeBoer told ESPN that he expects the run game to be "a little bit by committee until Jam gets back."

Alabama running back Jam Miller is dealing with an upper-body injury but is expected to be ready for the SEC opener against Georgia on Sept. 27, according to coach Kalen DeBoer. Miller injured his collarbone during a scrimmage last week and will be sidelined for the team's season opener against Florida State on Aug. 30.
