LANSING, MI -- The sixth largest Powerball jackpot of all time is up for grabs as the estimated grand prize for the drawing on Monday, Dec. 15 is worth $1.1 billion with a cash option of $503.4 million. Once again, MLive will provide results of the drawing shortly after it takes place at 11 p.m. EST.

​The Powerball jackpot is again at a record-breaking figure. On Saturday night, the prize amount swelled to $1 billion, ranking it among the largest Powerball jackpots in history. This is the second time this year when the prize amount has escalated to such a level.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Two winning Powerball tickets recently sold in Kentucky. According to the Kentucky Lottery, both tickets were sold from the drawing on Sat., Dec. 13 and won the game's $50,000 prize. One ticket was purchased from the Five Star on West John Rowan Boulevard in Bardstown, Ky.

Seven winning tickets were sold ranging from a $50,000 Powerball wins to a big $250,000 Triple Twist jackpot. Here's where they were sold.
