You can bench-bleed your master cylinder using brake hydraulic lines or by purchasing a master cylinder bench bleeding kit from a local auto parts store.
After the master cylinder is bench bled and mounted to the Jeep, the Phoenix V12 bleeder can be used in several different configurations to then bleed the remainder of the brake system.
With one side of the master cylinder plugged, it is time to bench bleed the master cylinder using the supplied bench bleeding kit. There are actually two ways to do this.
Bench bleeding the master cylinder eliminates any air pockets in the system so that the fluid flows properly. If the master cylinder isn't bled properly, the entire brake system suffers.
During brake bleeding, the master-cylinder cap should be left unscrewed but still in place atop the reservoir. Each brake must be bled in the correct sequence.
