UFC Shanghai went down this past weekend (Sat., Aug. 23, 2025) inside Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai, China, leaving several fighters feeling the post-fight blues. Among them was Mingyang Zhang, who was upset by Johnny Walker in front of his hometown crowd (see it again here).

Heading into their co-headlining bout at UFC Fight Night 257, former bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling knew what Brian Ortega was up to.

Plenty were shocked to see the fight go ahead, and when he did enter the cage, ‘T-City’ offered little offense to trouble Sterling. John McCarthy, for one, saw a man who is not as motivated and passionate about fighting as he once was.
