The Washington Commanders agreed to a one-year deal with pass rusher Von Miller, a league source told UPI on Thursday. His 129.5 sacks lead all active players.

Von Miller is signing with the Washington Commanders, with the NFL’s active sacks leader joining the team roughly a week before training camp opens. Miller and the team have agreed on a one-year contract,

Can Miller provide pass rush help? Dante Fowler was the only Commanders player to top 10 sacks last season, but he has since signed with the Dallas Cowboys. Washington did, however, sign Deatrich Wise, Javon Kinlaw and Jacob Martin as free agents to bolster the defensive line. Miller will now join that group.
