3 Trades Raiders Should Make Before NFL Deadline
Digest more
Thanks to ESPN's Monday Night Football broadcast, the Las Vegas Raiders had to deal with some drama surrounding Tom Brady.
It appears that the Raiders will only be able to make their final decision on Meyers close to kickoff. Should he end up sitting out his first game of the season, players such as Tre Tucker, Jack Bech and Dont’e Thornton Jr. could see bigger roles against Kansas City.
The Raiders, already without top pass catchers Jakobi Meyers (knee/toe) and Brock Bowers (knee), lose defensive end Maxx Crosby (knee/back) and defensive tackle Adam Butler (back) to injuries against the Chiefs.
The Las Vegas Raiders and general manager John Spytek made some big moves in the offseason, and none of them look good in hindsight.
The Raiders were without both Brock Bowers and Jakobi Meyers last game, but there is optimism they'll be back after the bye week.

2025 Raiders worse than 2024
The 2024 Las Vegas Raiders held a 2-5 record through the same point last season before going to end the year at 4-13, the Raiders are also on pace to finish 4-13 though ESPN’s FPI has them a projected 3-14 which would be the Raiders worse finish in over a decade.
