Philadelphia 76ers rookie VJ Edgecombe has broken several scoring records while playing in his first regular-season game.

VJ Edgecombe had inspired plenty of hope throughout his first few months as a member of the Philadelphia 76ers, for what he did on the basketball court and how he approached his work there.

Edgecombe finished with 34 points, seven rebounds and three assists and broke records previously held by LeBron James and Allen Iverson in the process.
