Tropical Storm Imelda, moving slowly north off Florida's coast, is expected to become a hurricane Tuesday, Sept. 30, according to the National Hurricane Center. While Imelda is expected to remain offshore, indirect impacts to Florida and the eastern coast of the United States are forecast, including life-threatening rip currents and rough surf.
