Lego has launched its most ambitious set ever: the Lego Star Wars Death Star. Part of the prestigious ultimate collector series, the colossal new model stands at 2ft tall, is made up of a whopping 9,023 pieces and features the most minifigurines ever in a Lego set.

The Danish toy giant announced the deal to buy the Lego and Legoland branded discovery centres by the end of the year.
