Three people were killed and three others were injured in an attack on the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv on Saturday, according to officials, in a move Russia said was in retaliation for Ukraine using US-made ATACMS missiles.

Ukraine said the strikes hit Kyiv and Zaporizhzhia overnight. Russia called the Kyiv strikes a response to Ukrainian attacks on Belgorod.

A Russian barrage of drones and missiles left at least three people dead in Ukraine’s capital, while industrial sites in Russia were set ablaze by Ukrainian strikes.
