A lot of time has passed since the second round of the 2024-2025 NBA Playoffs. The Boston Celtics and New York Knicks have both endured changes. However, the rivalry will still feel the same when they face off on October 24.

The NBA preseason kicks off on Oct. 2 with an international showdown in Abu Dhabi, UAE between the New York Knicks and Philadelphia 76ers.

Prime has done its part by landing top-tier announcers. Ian Eagle and Kevin Harlan are two of the most recognizable voices in both basketball and football. They take lead play-by-play assignments, along with Eric Collins (the Hornets guy who’s always yelling) and Michael Grady (splitting between Prime and NBC).

The program will continue to be produced by TNT Sports from its Atlanta studios and will feature the longtime cast of host Ernie Johnson and analysts Charles Barkley, Shaquille O’Neal and Kenny Smith.
