Two of the most prominent storylines to take place within the Ducks-Bruins game involves that of Mikael Granlund, who officially became the first Anaheim player to record five points in a single game since former Ducks' forward Ryan Getzlaf, who nailed the same feat in November of 2015.

Chris Kreider scored his second power-play goal in his Ducks home debut with 1:27 to play, and Anaheim beat the Pittsburgh Penguins 4-3 for its 10th consecutive victory in home openers.

Not only did the Ducks rally from a two-goal deficit in the third period for a 7-6 overtime victory against the San Jose Sharks on Saturday, they now face the Penguins, who were crushed 6-1 at home by the New York Rangers this past weekend.

Anaheim has taken three of four points to open its five-game eastward road trip, and the hometown Bruins have lost five in a row after a 3-0-0 start.
