Gov. Wes Moore called out President Donald Trump by name Thursday, saying during a speech before the demolition of Pimlico Race Course that the president should keep Baltimore’s “name out of your mouth.

An excavator tore open the walls of the Pimlico clubhouse Thursday as the governor and other dignitaries looked on — the official kick-off for a demolition already underway at the historic track in northwest Baltimore’s Park Heights.

This comes as the two leaders have engaged in a war of words, over differing opinions on how to handle crime, specifically Trump's decision to deploy National Guard troops to Washington D.C.
