A former Strictly Come Dancing star has reportedly been arrested on suspicion of rape. The unnamed male, who is in his thirties, is also being questioned by police “over allegations of non-consensual intimate image abuse”. It follows an earlier allegation of anonymous individuals regularly using cocaine during their time on the show.

The opening episode sees the contestants discover their professional partners and their opening dance, with the judging panel also offering their thoughts. The first live show will take place on 27 September, where the 15 couples will perform their first routine.
