Records may be met or broken on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday as the heat takes hold. A Heat Advisory is in effect for the Interstate 5 corridor, including Seattle, from 11 a.m. Friday through 5 a.m. Tuesday. High temperatures ranging from the mid-80s to 90s expected.

The summer heat is returning in Western Washington. This weekend, highs that could reach into the 90s are threatening to break records.

Temperatures are expected to reach 90 degrees across Western Washington, and the NWS has issued a Heat Advisory between Aug. 22 and Aug. 26.
