Cam Skattebo saw his first game action for the New York Giants and Jaxson Dart had an eventful preseason finale by throwing a touchdown pass and clearing concussion protocol following a big hit, with reserves playing much of a 42-10 rout of the New England Patriots on Thursday night.

The New England Patriots were dominated by the New York Giants in their 2025 preseason swan song at MetLife Stadium.

Ben Wooldridge played the entire game at quarterback and looked unimpressive against the Giants' defense. It didn't help that the offensive line struggled in pass protection, and the Patriots couldn't get the ground game going. But Wooldridge threw multiple inaccurate passes and eventually paid for it with a pick-six in the third quarter.
