G-League guard London Johnson has committed to Louisville in the 2026 class, a source told On3. The 21-year-old floor general has played the last three seasons in the G-League. Johnson plans to arrive in Louisville mid-year and will sit out the rest of the 2025-26 season before playing for the Cardinals next season.

Louisville has missed on a couple of high-profile 2026 targets, including Taylen Kinney (Kansas) and Colben Landrew (UConn). Top 2026 prospect Tyran Stokes, a native of Louisville, has had the Cardinals on his list but recent reports have him heading elsewhere, possibly Kentucky.
The 6-foot-3, 181-pound guard is "expected to arrive in Louisville mid-year and will sit out for the rest of the season, and be eligible next year," according to The Field of 68's Jeff Goodman. He will then have two years of eligibility to play.
Tom Izzo was supported by Hurley and several other coaches as he vented his frustration about G League players permitted into college basketball.
London Johnson is coming to Louisville with three years of pro ball experience under his belt and two years of eligibility.
