The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission is issuing an urgent warning to anyone who has purchased a fake Labubu doll because children could be at risk for this deadly safety hazard. The counterfeit Labubus, also known as “Lafufus,” are small and can easily break apart, causing a choking hazard to small children.

People are being warned against buying fake and "dangerous" Labubu dolls by trading standards officers. The elf-like creatures from Chinese toy maker Pop Mart soared in popularity last year, but counterfeit versions are appearing.
