Disney+ and Hulu cancellations jumped in September after ABC briefly suspended "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" over controversy surrounding Kimmel’s comments on Charlie Kirk’s killing.

About three million Americans canceled Disney+ in September, up from a three-month average of 1.2 million, according to Antenna, a subscription research firm.

The “churn rate,” or the percentage of customers that cancel their subscriptions in a specific month, jumped from 5% in August to 10% in September for Hulu.
