The Irmo All-Stars used a dramatic comeback to stay alive in the Little League World Series. Andrew Bogan's two-run single in the bottom of the seventh lifted Irmo to an amazing 7-6 come-from-behind win over South Dakota in the Little League World Series on Wednesday.

The Southeast Champion scored 6 runs at the bottom of the 7th innning to advance once again at the Little League World Series. Irmo came back twice against Midwest; in the 6th inning to tie the game after being down 1-0, and in extra innings after giving up 5 runs at the top of the 7th.

South Carolina and South Dakota face off in the Little League World Series on Wednesday for the chance to make it to the U.S. bracket semifinals.

Bogan sent a 2-2 pitch down the right-field line that snuck just under the glove of diving right fielder Grayson Rehfeldt. Two runs scored, and the South Carolina benches cleared as players rushed to the field to celebrate the walk-off win.

The loss drops Irmo into the loser’s bracket of the LLWS. Irmo will play Hawaii in an elimination game on Tuesday at 3 p.m.

Summerlin South lost for the first time in the Little League World Series and will play the Southeast champion Thursday for a berth in the U.S. title game.

IRMO, S.C. (WIS) - The Town of Irmo has taken a step toward passing an ordinance making hate crimes illegal. Irmo Town Council unanimously approved the first reading of the ordinance during a meeting on Tuesday. It would need to pass a second reading to be enacted by the town.
