Meteorologists are closely tracking the projected path and forecast of Hurricane Erin, which is the first hurricane to develop over the Atlantic this year.
As Hurricane Erin churns off the U.S. East Coast, live stream cameras along Florida beaches and across North Carolina are capturing the storm’s impacts. Expect heavy surf and riptides in Florida. Hurricane Erin exploded in strength to a Category 5 storm in the Caribbean before weakening on Saturday, the National Hurricane Center said.
