Rainy Lake is an unorganized territory in Koochiching County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 4,469 at the 2000 census. According to the United States Census Bureau, the unorganized territory has a total area of 387.2 square miles, of which 350.2 square miles is land and 37.0 square miles is water.
